What risks are Stock Investing I

 

AS ever mentioned in previous articles, that there are two main things why we chose to invest in stocks, of them is because they want to get dividends and Capital Gains. However, in investing in the stock market does not always side with the goddess fortuna investors.


Sometimes conditions just turned around and this is a risk if we choose investments in stocks. First, if we managed to get the "Capital Gains", then there are times when we will get a "Capital Loss", which is a condition in which investors sell shares is lower than the purchase price.

For example, shares of PT ABC that are bought with a price of Rp 5,000, - per share, and then (because of the global financial crisis) stock price has continued to decrease to Rp 3500, - per share.
 
Fearing that the stock price will continue to fall, investors sell at the price of Rp 3500, - those that suffered losses of Rp 1500, - per share. The result can be assured that the-investor will lose money.
